Are you looking for a simple and distraction-free music player for your children? Let me introduce you to Jukebox, the most minimalist music app in the App Store! I made this app for my three year old sister. (shes now six - time flies!)
Targeted at children from ages three to five, Jukebox delivers on its promise of simplicity:
- The app displays a sleek grid of album bookmarks that you choose from your Apple Music library.
- No buttons except for the albums themselves: tap one to play, tap again to pause. Tap and hold to skip to the next song. That’s it!
- Kids mode prevents children from accidentally deleting their bookmarked albums. For the best experience, turn on Guided Access to keep your child from venturing outside the app.
- Parents mode allows changes to the bookmarks: re-arrange and delete just like on the home screen! Or tap the plus to add additional albums to the list.
- Quickly add or remove songs with the home screen shortcuts: tap and hold on Jukebox, then select either "Add music" or "Edit album tiles".
- Playback always resumes where it was last stopped and continues even when the screen turns off. It also works in the background, via Bluetooth and AirPlay.
- Built-in quick start guide explains how to use the app.
- No advertisements, popups or In-App-Purchases: set it and forget it!
If you have any questions or remarks, feel free to email me at [email protected]! And if you and your children like the app, please consider leaving a rating or a review here in the App Store. Thank you!
